Halloween easy recipes

 

If you're digging around for creative fright-night snacks that don't take a whole lot of work, you have to keep reading! There's no trick to making these amazing Halloween food ideas, they're so easy, the kids can help you make them. Happy Halloween to everyone!

1. Witches’ hats 

Ingredients:

- 2 (16 ounce) packages fudge stripe cookies.

- ¼ cup honey, or as needed.

- 1(ounce) bag milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped.

- 1 (4.5 ounce) tube decorating gel.

Procedure:

1. Place a fudge stripe cookie with bottom side up onto a work surface.

2. Smear a small dab (about 1/8 teaspoon) of honey onto the bottom of a chocolate kiss, and secure the candy piece to the center of the cookie, covering the hole.

3. Use decorating gel to pipe a small bow onto the cookie at the base of the candy piece. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

 

2. Spider Web S'mores

Ingredients:

- ½ cup and 2 tablespoons marshmallow fluff

- 10 graham cracker squares

- 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, or as needed

Procedure:

1. Spread about 1 tablespoon marshmallow fluff evenly onto 1 side of each graham cracker square.

2. Melt chocolate in top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Cool chocolate for 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon chocolate into a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner snipped.

3. Pipe chocolate in the shape of a spider web onto the marshmallow fluff of each graham cracker. Put a dot with some legs in the corner to represent a spider.

 

Pumpkin Pie Dip

Ingredients:

- 2 c. heavy cream

- 1 (3.4-oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix

- 1/2 c. canned pumpkin

- 2 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice

- Ginger snap cookies, for serving

Procedure:

1. In a stand mixer, beat heavy cream and vanilla pudding mix until stiff peaks form, 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Add pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice and stir to combine, then chill if desired. Serve with ginger snaps.

 

Ghost Pizza Bagels

Ingredients

- 8 slices mozzarella

- 8 mini bagels

- 1/2 c. marinara

- 4 black olives


Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut mozzarella slices into ghost shapes using a paring knife.

2. Spread a thin layer of marinara over pizza bagel and top with ghost.

3. Bake until the cheese is melty, 10 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, cut olives into little pieces for eyes. Dot the ghosts and serve.

 

Dracula Dentures

Ingredients

- 1 tube chocolate chip cookie dough

- 1 can vanilla frosting

- Red food coloring

- Mini marshmallows

- Slivered almonds

Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll cookie dough into 1 ½” balls and place on baking sheets. Bake until golden, about 12 minutes. Let cool completely then cut in half.

2. Add a few drops of red food coloring into vanilla frosting and stir until smooth. Spread a thin layer of red frosting onto each cookie half.

3. Place mini marshmallows around the round edges of half of the halves. Place the remaining halves on top, then stick a slivered almond on each side to create fangs.
